The Old Shop (B-25) was erected in 1825 as the colonial store. It is also a log-built construction, but differs from some of the older buildings by being a precursor of a more timber-saving building style. Although the house has two later extensions, its original function is still visible in the architecture, as there are no windows in the part of the building that used to hold the warehouse. Today the building houses shifting special exhibitions and the museum’s storage.
