Kangerlussuaq Museum

Kangerlussuaq Museum is located in the previous airbase area on the opposite side of the air strip from the airport. It is well worth a visit if you need to pass the time between flights. The exhibitions tell the unique history of Kangerlussuaq as a military base, a civilian airport and a research centre.
